Bottaio is Located at the north end of Downtown Libertyville on Milwaukee Avenue in a free standing two story, stucco building.  Opened in 1997 Bottaio has become an integral part of the community, serving both residents and businesses with pride and professionalism.

Fresh vegetables, fish and various meats prepared as modern interpretations of traditional dishes from the Abruzzo region of Italy.

Fillet of Chilean sea bass baked in our wood burning oven with

imported mixed mushrooms in a prosecco wine cream sauce,

served with mashed potato and vegetables.

Chicken breasts sautéed with mushrooms, aspargus and artichokes in a

brandy cream sauce, served with mashed potatoes and vegetables.

Grilled bone in New Zealand Baby lamb Loin topped with whole

roasted garlic in a rosemary, white wine sauce,

served with mashed potatoes and vegetables.

 

CINGHIALE AL MIRTILLO ... $26.00

Fillet of wild boar coated with a Dijon mustard herb crust, roasted in our

wood burning oven, served over mashed potatoes and topped with a

blueberry red wine sauce and fried leeks.
